The Sea Pig photographer, Elias Cosindas, will be taking part in the photographic exhibition ‘Narratives of Milos’. The exhibition will take place between 14/7-17/9/2023 on the island of Milos, as part of the 30th Festival of the Municipality of Milos.
The exhibition includes works by photographers Katerina Kaloudi, George Kordakis, Elias Kosintas, Mady Lykeridou, and Laure Vasconi. The five photographers meet in Milos and present, through their photographic lens and artistic perspective, aspects of the island that culminate in a composition of different narratives about life, landscape, and traditions of Milos.
Art unites people and transports them to an exciting, dreamlike, and luminous world. Here, Milos, a small yet magically unique place, has become a source of inspiration for the five artists who tell stories about identity, memory, place, and time as each perceives them and shares them with the visitor-spectator.
The exhibition will take place at the Refuge of Adamas, with the generous contribution of the Adamas Friends Association, from July 14 to September 17, 2023, and is dedicated to the memory of Ulysses Kyriacopoulos, well-known among the residents of Milos for his participation and contribution to the island’s entrepreneurship and community, as well as for his special love for education and culture in Greece.
