Sarakiniko, the beach with the lunar-like landscape full of boulders, valleys and caves. It is located on the northern shore of Milos island. Rumors have it that it was named after the Saracen pirates that used its caves as shelter. It was mostly formed by fossil layering and some volcanic eruptions and with the help of the northern waves it got its unique shoreline contour. A lot can be said about Sarakiniko but seeing is believing!
